You say the show is Public Domain. What's that mean?
Works in the public domain are those whose exclusive intellectual property rights have expired, have been forfeited, or are inapplicable. For example, the works of Shakespeare and Beethoven, and most of the early silent films, are all now in the public domain by either being created before copyrights existed or leaving the copyright term. Anyone can distribute, or sell public domain material without infringing on any copyrights. They can also freely edit, modify or alter the material in any way. Example: Walt Disney waited until the story of Pinocchio entered public domain so he wouldn't have to pay for permission rights to the author to make his Pinocchio film.

Why isn't 12 O'clock High on DVD from 20th Century Fox?
Quinn Martin and 20th Century Fox co-owned, partnered on the 12 O'clock High the series. It's belived because of the anti-war climate in the 1960's the series was just allowed to go Public Domain. Also when Q.M. sold the company, the rights to this show, because it was co-owned, were not transferred to the purchasing company. Q.M. did NOT have exclusive rights to the series.

What if a DVD doesn't play or there's problems?
First unplug the player for 10 minutes to clear out the cache. Try again. Faulty DVD media (the disc iteself) is usually to blame for read errors, playback problems or exsessive skipping. It's impossible to catch this in the DVD creation process. But first make sure the DVD is clean of fingerprints or other dirt. Using a really soft cloth (NOT a paper towel) , spray a fine mist of glass cleaner on the playing side (bottom) of the DVD. Very gently wipe away any signs of fingerprints or other matter. Try it again. If it doesnt work try it in a computer with a DVD player or another DVD/Blu-ray player to make sure its really the DVD and not your player... Still doesn't play? No worries. "Contact Us" from the menu at the very bottom of the page. We'll replace it.
